John J. Tartaglia, CPA, CIT, Partner, John joined Dermody, Burke & Brown in 1988 after 11 years in private industry. John has more than 45 years of combined industry and public accounting experience. During that time, his experiences included providing comprehensive audit, accounting and consulting services to a wide variety of clients covering many different industries including manufacturing, construction, specialty contractors, transportation companies and professional service firms.
John is a Construction Industry Technician and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from St. John Fisher College. John is also a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Donald E. Albright, CPA, Principal, joined Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC in 1997. Don services a variety of clients and has over 25 years of auditing experience. Don performs audit, review and compilation engagements, as well as consulting services for our closely held business clients. Don serves a variety of industries including construction contractors, manufacturers, ambulatory health care facilities and small businesses. He has also performed work for a variety of tax-exempt clients including unions, SUNY school auxiliary services, museums and HUD-assisted housing companies, among others.
Don holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Columbia College and is a member of both the NYSSCPA and AICPA.
